Embodiment Construction

[0025] figure 1 A pair of flip flops 100 is shown, each consisting of a sole 101 , a strap 103 with a knob disposed in a through hole of the sole 101 .

[0026] Figure 2a , 2b 2c and 2c respectively show plan, side and bottom construction views of the strap 103 with the sole 101 removed. It can be seen that the belt 103 comprises two extensions 105 connected at one end at an angle to provide an abutment 107 forming a Y-shaped belt 103 . The abutment 107 has a protruding knob 109 for connecting the strap 103 to the sole 101 . The other end of the extension 105 extending from the abutment 107 also has a knob 109 . Accordingly, there are three knobs 109 on the Y-shaped band 103 . Preferably, the strap 103 is made of flexible plastic, such as ethyl vinyl acetate (PVC).

[0027] image 3 Shown is a representative side of the sole 101 , excluding the strap 103 , the sole 101 of the flip flop is cut from a piece of resilient foam material, such as polymer foam.

Abstract

The invention relates to a pair of flip-flops and a manufacturing method thereof. The pair of flip-flops comprises soles provided with through holes capable of accommodating spherical handles of belts. The soles are subjected to heat treatment so as to reduce the elasticity of a foam material forming the side walls of the through holes; therefore, the spherical handles can be prevented from being extruded from the through holes to prevent the belts from separating from the soles.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to shoes, in particular to flip flops. Background technique [0002] Flip-flops are generally assembled by punching holes in a sole made of a flexible material and securing molded straps in the holes. The strap is formed by joining two extensions at an angle. There is a spherical handle at the place where the two extension pieces are adjacent, and there is a spherical handle at the other end of the two extension pieces respectively. These knobs are pushed into the holes to create flip flops. [0003] In flip flops, the wearer's foot is placed between the strap and the sole, which secures the foot to the sole. As the wearer walks, the strap is pulled with force in either direction along the plane of the sole, possibly perpendicular to the plane of the sole, thereby being pulled out of the sole. [0004] In short, the knob can come out of the hole, allowing the strap to fall out of the sole. [0005] Therefore, it is necessary ...
