Abstract

The invention provides a method for calculating the ocular distance, comprising the following steps: using a three-dimensional image display device to generate one or multiple second display points and displaying one or multiple virtual reference points; obtaining one or multiple calibration points, wherein the calibration points are generated by that a user uses an interaction component to interact with the reference points; and calculating the ocular distance of the user in accordance with the opposite positions among the display points, the calibration points and the user. In the method, the user operates the interaction component to interact with the one or multiple virtual reference points, thus calculating the ocular distance of the user, thereby correctly estimating the actual feeling of the user for three-dimensional image positions and depths of field.
