Abstract

A tube cutter (10) is disclosed having a frame roller assembly and a cutting wheel assembly. The frame roller assembly includes two or more independently rotatable frame rollers (120) which share a common axis (122). The cutting wheel assembly includes a cutter wheel (100) disposed between two independently rotatable slide rollers (110), the cutter wheel (100) and slide rollers (110) sharing a common axis of rotation. The frame rollers (120) are generally aligned with the slide rollers (110) during a cutting operation. The tube cutter retains the ends of a tube during and after cut completion. The tube cutter is particularly suited for cutting corrugated tubing, and most particularly, a range of different sizes and configurations of corrugated tubing.
