Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce passengers who cannot get on an elevator by acquiring a congestion state of each car to select a car when a passenger registers a destination floor in a hall. SOLUTION: The elevator system is provided with a destination-floor registration device to be used by a passenger in a hall of each floor to register a destination floor. A group control device 11 is provided with: a congestion-degree-display control unit 21 for computing the degree of congestion of each car at predetermined timing and indicating it on a display unit arranged in the destination-floor registration device of each floor in a specific display mode; and an allocation control unit 23 for allocating the destination floor registered through the destination floor registration device to the car arbitrarily specified by the passenger in the car after the degree of congestion is displayed by the congestion-degree-display control unit 21.
