The method comprises the following steps that: (a), a main roller presses the pre-soaking silks and advances on the first surface, so as to absolutely lay the pre-soaking silks on the first surface longitudinally; (b), the main roller presses the pre-soaking silks, gets away from the first surface and continuously advances on the first surface in the tangential direction, so as to enable the pre-soaking silks to be totally extended out of the first surface transversely; (c), the main roller presses the pre-soaking silks which are extended out of the first surface on the second surface; and (d), an assistant roller compacts the pre-soaking silks which are extended out of the first surface on the second surface. By applying the method and device for laying pre-soaking silks automatically, the pre-soaking silks positioned on folded edges of the mould can be flatly laid.
