Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for intelligently analyzing vehicle behaviour. The corresponding method comprises the steps of collecting a sample set containing vehicles and a background sample set which does not contain vehicles, selecting predetermined Haar rectangular features to conduct offline training through an AdaBoost algorithm, and obtaining a cascade classifier which can find out vehicles from complicated backgrounds; obtaining video resources, and detecting video resources through the cascade classifier to identify vehicles in images; constructing a vehicle detector with identified vehicles serving as identified positive samples, tracking all vehicles through an optical flow method, and obtaining motion trails of all vehicles; and detecting traffic signs in video resources, combining traffic signs to analyze motion trails of vehicles, and determining whether vehicles violate rules. By the aid of the method and the system, vehicles can be tracked in complex scenarios and dynamic videos, and whether driving of vehicles violates rules can be determined.
