The invention discloses a blade lock and a key; the blade lock comprises a lock tube and a lock core which is arranged in the lock tube, wherein a key hole and a lock bolt are axially formed on the lock core; a plurality of blades extending into the key hole and matched with the lock bolt are arranged on the lock core in a radial direction; the moving directions of the blades are vertical to the moving direction of the lock bolt; a clamping groove matched with the lock bolt is formed in the inner wall of the lock tube; an elastic clamping sheet capable of extending into the key hole is arranged on the lock core between the lock bolt and the key hole; and the moving direction of the elastic clamping sheet is consistent with the moving direction of the lock bolt. The clamping sheet can fall into a recess in a key rod to achieve unlocking only after the matched key is inserted into the lock core in place. The clamping sheet is always pushed upward to clamp the lock bolt if an unmatched key or other unlocking tools are used, so that the lock bolt cannot retract to the lock core from the clamping groove of the lock tube to achieve unlocking.
