The tested solar cell pieces are encapsulated on the solar cell piece support through glass and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) adhesive films and connected with the intelligent topology circuit through interconnection strips, the intelligent topology circuit is connected to the electronic load, and the electronic load is connected with the control circuit board. The outdoor testing platform for the intelligent solar cell pieces and the testing method achieve shifting of independent testing and serial testing of the solar cell pieces through testing of an independent variable (IV) characteristic curve of the solar cell pieces and the intelligent topology circuit, acquired data are memorized in a large-capacity memory module of the platform and simultaneously sent to a remote monitoring computer through a wireless network, a working state of the solar cell pieces in an outdoor natural environment can be reflected really, and evaluation on the outdoor working performance of the solar cell pieces is achieved.
