Abstract

The invention discloses an epoxy resin-reinforced polystyrene halogen-free flame-retardant material, which comprises the following raw materials in part by weight: 68-80 parts of polystyrene, 8-20 parts of elastomer, 3-5 parts of epoxy resin, 0.3-1.5 parts of epoxy curing agent, 0.1-0.3 parts of lubricant, 8-12 parts of flame retardant, 0.4-0.8 parts of antioxidant, and 0.2-0.5 parts of dispersant. The invention further discloses an epoxy resin-reinforced polystyrene halogen-free flame-retardant material and a preparation method thereof. According to the invention, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer is added to improve the toughness, and the epoxy resin is added simultaneously for cross-linking and curing through the epoxy curing agent to form a reticular structure, so that polystyrene particles are adhered on the surface to form a core-shell structure, thereby improving the impact property and the strength of polystyrene. Meanwhile, microencapsulated red phosphorus and diphenyl phosphate are added to the halogen-free flame retardant so as to improve the flame retardancy of the system and widen the application scope of polystyrene.
