Abstract

A rapid coarse positioning method for animal ear tag code images includes the steps of A, rapidly positioning an area including animal ear tag code images; and B, extracting the area including the animal ear tag code images. The step A further includes: A1, performing image resampling to obtain a difference image of a source image; A2, subjecting the difference image to binarization processing to obtain a binary image by a modified rapid adaptive threshold method; and A3, judging and positioning the area which may include the animal ear tag code images according to the binary image. According to the method, the area including the animal ear tag code images is positioned from the acquired image firstly, the image of the area is then extracted, and accordingly operating time of algorithm is shorter.
