Abstract

The invention discloses an efficient denitrifying integrated biological drum and an operating method thereof, and solves the problems that the existing biological rotary disc is low in volume load, complex in structure of disc, high in manufacturing and processing cost and large in workload for maintenance of the rotary disc driving device, and the biological membrane on the disc is easy in anaerobic fermentation to generate foul smell. The drum disclosed by the invention comprises a body, and an inversed T-shaped separator assembly which is formed by a vertically arranged first separator and a horizontally arranged second separator in the body, wherein the separator assembly divides the body into an anoxic zone, an aerobic zone and a settling zone. An opening by which wastewater flows from the anoxic zone to the aerobic zone is formed in the bottom of the first separator. A water inlet is formed in the upper part of the anoxic zone. The aerobic zone is internally provided with a biological drum. The upper parts of the anoxic zone and the aerobic zone are further mutually communicated through a backflow channel. The second separator is further provided with an overflow pipe communicated with the anoxic zone and the aerobic zone. The settling zone is further provided with a water outlet. The drum disclosed by the invention is compact in structure, small in occupied area, free from aeration by a fan and low in operating cost.
