Abstract

The invention relates to a method for effectively solving discontinuity of a reverse time migration waveform, and the method can improve fine description of an oil reservoir. The method includes the steps that by the adoption of a depth domain layer speed model and forward modeling shot gather data, a seismic focus subwave is firstly selected, single shot wave equation forward modeling is performed in a depth domain, and single shot source wave fields of all moments are stored; a single shot seismic record is taken as initial boundary conditions, started from the maximum record moment, wave equation forward modeling is performed along a time shaft to obtain receiving wave fields, single shot reverse time migration images after waveform continuing are obtained by using smooth imaging conditions provided in the method, and all the single shot reverse time migration images are superimposed to obtain a reverse time migration image. In the aspects of waveform continuity, horizon seism instantaneous frequency and phase position space-variant stability, the smooth imaging conditions of the method are better than conventional imaging conditions.
