Abstract

The invention discloses a method for testing the handling capacity of CPE (customer premises equipment). The method comprises the following steps: (a) connecting the CPE with a personal computer (PC) through a wireless access point (AP); (b) integrating the CPE with a flow test tool client and installing a flow test tool server on the PC; and (c) running the flow test tool client on the CPE and the flow test tool server on the PC to carry out wireless communication and test the handling capacity. The method for testing the handling capacity of the CPE provided by the invention has the advantages that the flow test tool client is integrated in the CPE so that the test system is simplified, and consequently, a test environment can be established conveniently to meet the test requirements of a plurality of sets of CPE and the test requirements of long distance.
