Using characteristic of close relation between optical path change of coherent beam formed by a sensor header and current to be measured, the invention through phase relation of interference signals realizes the function for measuring current. Highlighted advantages of the invention are as follows. There is no limit of linear working space of system. Measuring sensitivity is adjustable based on physical circumstances so as to ensure measuring accuracy at both of large current and small current. The method of measuring current is based on optical path change of magnetic interference instead of existing technology depending on Faraday rotation effect, providing features of simple measuring system and no technical problem for controlling polarization in optical path. Comparing with prior art, the invention provides stable measuring result since its symmetrical optical path eliminates influence on the system caused by slow varying heat effect and surrounding vibration.

The invention discloses a distributed fiber temperature strain sensing system and method based on Brillouin scattering. A distributed feedback laser is adopted to emit continuous light with a narrow linewidth, the light is externally modulated by a photoelectric modulator into pulse light, an erbium doped fiber amplifier is adopted to amplify the pulse light, and then the amplified pulse light enters, as incident light, a sensing fiber so that a Brillouin backward signal in the fiber is obtained. Homologous heterodyne interferometry is adopted to demodulate the signal, thereby avoiding requirements of general interferometry for similarity of luminous intensity of two light beams and simplifying a testing system. Certain measures are taken to enhance the signal, so subsequent processing can be conducted. Meanwhile, changes of Brillouin frequency shift and intensity are obtained through application of an electric method, temperature and strain are demodulated, and temperature and strain are measured at the same time.
