The covering multicast zone file transmitting method includes the steps that an original direct transmission between the DNS main server and the DNS auxiliary servers is changed to be indirect transmission with the DNS auxiliary servers as relay nodes; a forwarding dispatch server is additionally arranged and used for collecting link information between all the authoritative servers, a multicast tree is calculated through a certain multicast tree generating algorithm, and respective forwarding tables are calculated for all the authoritative servers.
