The start protection method includes starting the system of the mobile terminal; starting a protection program before other application programs are started; enabling the protection program to analyze start records of the system of the mobile terminal, checking whether the system of the mobile terminal is previously successfully started or not, normally starting the system if the system is previously successfully started, or stopping starting the application programs in the system of the mobile terminal in a starting procedure of the system of the mobile terminal if the system is not previously successfully started. The invention further provides a start protection device for the system of the mobile terminal. The start protection method is implemented by the aid of the start protection device.
