Abstract

The invention relates to pruning shears which comprise a machine shell, a front handle and a rear handle. The front handle and the rear handle are connected with the machine shell respectively, the rear handle comprises a rear handle shell and a switch control trigger mounted to the rear handle shell, the switch control trigger comprises a trigger mounted on the rear handle shell, a rotating shaft mounted in the rear handle shell and an elastic device rotatably connected to the rotating shaft, and the trigger is provided with a pushing portion pushing the elastic device to rotate. In a trigger control mechanism of the rear handle, the trigger is used to operate the elastic device to rotate to contact with a micro switch; when the trigger is insufficient in stroke, the trigger is enabled to be still capable of maintaining contact with the micro switch due to elastic action of the elastic device, so that random interruption of a circuit is avoided, and the trigger control mechanism of the rear handle is enabled to have a stroke compensation function.
