Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for actuating a mobile element for closure, concealment, solar protection or screen. The mobile element can be actuated in two different directions under the effect of driving torque provided by an actuator. The method comprises a detecting step and a de-stressing step and further provides a step for determining parameters of de-stressing values for defining de-stressing stop positions. The detecting step is characterized in that operating parameters of the actuator is detected as to exceed the threshold value or not when the mobile element is driven in a first direction out of two directions. The de-stressing step is characterized in that starting operation is performed by detecting excess of the threshold value and the actuator is used for driving the mobile element in a second direction other than the above direction till the mobile element is located at the de-stressing stop position. The step of determining the parameters is intended for determining evolutive discontinuity of operating parameters of the actuator when the mobile element is driven in the first direction ahead of excess of the threshold value and also determining the de-stressing values in accordance with the detected excess of the threshold value and discontinuity.
