Abstract

The invention discloses an eyeball forepart perfusion organ culture multicavity system which comprises a multicavity culture device for placing and culturing eyeballs, a perfusate storage container for providing a perfusate for the multicavity culture device, and a monitoring device connected with the multicavity culture device. Compared with the single-cavity perfusion tissue culture device, the system disclosed by the invention increases the perfusion organ culture flux; the system can simultaneously test multiple states of a single eyeball, thereby reducing the biological change difference caused by different eyeballs and enhancing the data quality; both the complete and partial eyeballs are allowed to test the functions of different parts or the partial damage of different trabecular meshwork tissues of one eyeball in the same state, thereby reducing the waste; only a very small amount of eyeball sample is enough for complementing multiple condition processing repetitive tests so as to facilitate statistical analysis, thereby greatly lowering the research expenditure; and besides, the dosage of the required reagents is low, thereby further lowering the research expenditure.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a perfusion organ culture system, in particular to a multi-chamber system for perfusion organ culture in the anterior segment of the eyeball used for ophthalmology research. Background technique [0002] Human anterior segment tissue perfusion organ culture is a very important technique, which can be used to conduct permeability experiments on the intact trabecular meshwork to study the pathogenesis of glaucoma or drug development. However, since all eyeballs donated in eye banks are prioritized for corneal transplantation, there are very limited donor eyeballs available for perfusion organ culture. Obtained for perfused organ culture only when ineligible for corneal transplantation. However, these remaining eyeballs are often not ideal for the study of perfused organ culture. Therefore, the source of eyeballs for perfused organ culture has always been a limiting factor for the application of perfused organ culture technology....
