A single-live-wire dimming circuit for a wall-controlled LED lamp is composed of a wall-controlled switch unit and an LED lamp adjustment driving unit; wherein the wall-controlled switch unit comprises a single-live-wire power module, a single-chip microcomputer control module, a phase shift driving module, a zero-passing detecting module and a brightness setting module. The LED lamp adjustment driving unit comprises a single-chip microcomputer adjusting module and an LED driving module. When brightness changes, the wall-controlled switch unit transmits a brightness control signal through controlling a voltage waveform which is output from the single-live-wire output end. The LED lamp adjustment driving unit receives the brightness control signal through the single-chip microcomputer adjusting module and controls the brightness of the LED lamp. According to the LED lamp dimming method, a remote controller is not required, and single laying of a control line is not required. Furthermore re-laying of a power line is not required.
