Abstract

Rhinitis is inflammation of nasal mucosus caused by viruses, bacteria, allergen, various physical and chemical factors and some systemic diseases. The main pathologic changes of rhinitis show as nasal mucosus hyperaemia, swelling, exudation, hyperplasia, atrophy and the like. Virus infection is the chief reason of rhinitis, and flu and sendai viruses are the secondary reason. The medicine is prepared from medicines including loose knots, sharpleaf galangal fruit, amomum tsao-ko, rhizoma acori graminei, alpinia katsumadai, marine algae, amomum cardamomum, anoectochilus roxburghii, fructus amomi, broadleaf holly leaves, eupatorium, dioscorea bulbifera, wrinkled giant hyssop, semen lepidii, rhizoma atractylodis, loquat leaves, mangnolia officinalis, perillaseed, rhizoma anemarrhenae, ampelopsis japonica, reed rhizome, sargent gloryvine, prunella vulgaris, Chinese violet, eriocaulon saxangulara, folium mori, ligusticum sinense, horsetail, burdock, xanthium sibiricum, divaricate saposhniovia roots and notopterygium roots.
