Abstract

The invention provides a seed collection method for vegetable burdock pure three-year seeds. The seed collection method comprises culturing stock plants, harvesting and storing female parents, and planting the female parents. The stock plant cultivation comprises selection of sowing time, the sowing time being 25th September to 5th October. Using the method can obviously reduce bolting rate of autumn sown burdock in second-year production field, the bolting rate of the second year being 0.32%. Burdock seeds produced by the method can substantially improve yield and commodity of burdock roots. Yield of the burdock roots is 47515.50 kg / hm<2>, and commodity output of the burdock roots is 43238.65 kg / hm<2>. Using the method, a single plant can produce about 1000 g of burdock seeds. Using the method can solve a problem of burdock seed localization, and breaks situation that high-quality domestic burdock seeds just depend on import.
