The invention relates to a method and system for generating electricity by use of solar energy, generating the electricity by use of a temperature difference between a fluid in a pipe and a cold source environment and supplying equipment with the electricity, in particular to a method and system for generating the electricity to an instrument by use of the solar energy, supplying the equipment with the electricity, simultaneously discharging heat to the cold source environment by use of the fluid temperature in the pipe and a working medium in a heat pipe device to form the temperature difference and generating the electricity by use of the temperature difference. The solar energy is clean and contains abundant resources; and the electricity can be generated by use of the solar energy, the instrument can be supplied with the electricity through the control circuit or the electricity can be stored for an electrical storage device. Meanwhile, since the mediums in a few of pipe systems are very high in temperature, the stable temperature difference between two ends of a temperature difference power generation piece is kept by full use of an efficient heat-conducting function of the heat pipe device, the electricity is generated by use of the temperature difference, and the instrument is supplied with the electricity through the control circuit or the electricity is stored for the electrical storage device to solve the problems that the solar energy is unstable and unreliable; and solar energy power generation and temperature difference power generation are standby and complementary to each other. A solar power generation system and a temperature different power generation system can be used in combination or individually.
