Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for service deployment. The method comprises the steps that a computer among all the computers corresponding to a virtualized management platform is selected as a preferred computer, and the rest computers are taken as service computers; the preferred computer is used to deploy services corresponding to management nodes of the virtualized management platform to each service computer; and the preferred computer and the service computers are monitored in real time, wherein the preferred computer is used to deploy the service deployed by the service computer to other service computers if a failure takes place to one of the service computer, and a service computer among the service computers is selected to serve as a new preferred computer and implement corresponding functions if the preferred computer fails.
