Abstract

The method comprises the steps of establishing a mathematic model of radiance capable of being acquired by a thermal imager; determining relevant parameter values; selecting an appropriate optical filter according to spectral characteristics of different chemical substances; implementing a detection system to collect the multispectral images; and utilizing an electronic computer to process the images to obtain HC concentration distribution. Hardware equipment of the detection system is divided into two kinds: one is a detection system applied to a greenbelt-free lane, wherein the detection system comprises a thermal infrared imager, two optical filters, a galvanized flat plate and an electronic computer; and the other is a detection system applied to a lane with a greenbelt, wherein the detection system comprises a thermal infrared imager, two optical filters and an electronic computer.
