[0020] The present invention is described in detail below in conjunction with accompanying drawing. The spikes of the EEG signals in the epileptic interval of 14 patients were detected, and the detection results of this method were compared with those based on the signal envelope distribution model (Signal Envelope Distribution Model, SEDM) method.

[0021] A method for automatic detection of epileptic spikes, referring to figure 1 , including the following steps:

[0022] Step 1. The average EEG acquisition time of 14 patients is 8 hours, and the signal sampling rate is 200Hz. The instrument used for data acquisition is the EEG-1100 EEG machine of NIHON KOHDEN Company, the sampling frequency is 200Hz, and the passband cut-off Frequency 0.5Hz to 60Hz, collected with 19 conductive electrodes, respectively Fp1, Fp2, F3, F4, C3, C4, P3, P4, O1, O2, F7, F8, T3, T4, T5, T6, Fz, Cz, Pz, A1, A2. The CZ on the top of the head is used as the reference electrode, and the electrode po...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for automatically detecting interictal spike waves of epilepsy. The method comprises the following steps: extracting, by an MEMD (multivariate empirical mode decomposition), a component in which the spike waves present from scalp electroencephalogram of a epilepsy patient, performing the signal envelop, solving a dynamic threshold curve, and positioning a possibleposition of the spike waves. The method has the advantages that the frequency band range of electroencephalogram (EEG) can be adaptively adjusted according to the electroencephalogram, and the presence position of the interictal spike wave of the epilepsy can be accurately positioned; a novel concept is provided for reducing the burden of the clinical doctor for recognizing the spike waves, and the interictal spike waves can be more accurately automatically detected; and by virtue of comparison, the comprehensive advantage of the method in the aspect of the sensitivity and error rate is better than a method based on a signal envelop distribution model, and a better spike wave detection result can be achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of signal detection, in particular to a method for automatic detection of epileptic spikes, which helps clinicians reduce workload and the like. Background technique [0002] Epilepsy is a sudden onset mental illness. The pathological cause of its clinical diagnosis is the sudden abnormal discharge of brain neurons, which is a chronic neurological disease of brain functional disorder caused by it. The pathogenesis of epilepsy is complex, with many pathogenic factors, wide range of influence, severe impact, and very serious harm. However, there is still a lack of effective means for the treatment of epilepsy, so new methods are needed to study epilepsy. With the application of EEG signal analysis more and more widely, the analysis of EEG signal in epilepsy has become one of the important directions in the field of epilepsy research. EEG is a non-invasive tool for measuring the electrical activity of the brain, which ...
