Embodiment Construction

[0036] The present invention selects two display devices with different primary color spectrums, and organizes observers with normal color vision to carry out color matching experiments based on the five color centers recommended by CIE. Calculate the L of the target color and matching color under the white field of the two display devices * a * b * Value, so as to calculate the CIELAB color difference value matched by each observer. At the same time, the Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the color matching function of different individual observers, and the spectral data of the target color and the matching color are substituted to calculate the simulated CIELAB color difference value. The CIELAB color difference value matched by each observer in the experiment is compared with the CIELAB color difference value in the simulation matching experiment, and the color matching function corresponding to the smaller color difference value is regarded as the cone cell spectral...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for establishing an observer cone cell spectral response function. Through selecting display devices with different primary color spectra and five color centers recommended by the CIE, a cross-media color matching experiment is carried out by observer with normal tissue color perception. The CIELAB color difference between a target color and a matched color is calculated. The Monte Carlo method is used for generating weight different physiological and physical parameters. The parameters are combined with the age of the observer and the angle of view to n groups of different individual observer cone cell response functions. The functions are substituted into spectral data of the target color and matched color in the color matching experiment, and CIELAB color difference values of the n groups are calculated. Two groups of the CIELAB color difference values are compared, and the color matching function corresponding to the smaller color difference is used as the color matching function of the observer, and therefore the spectral response function of cone cells of the individual observer with normal color perception is established. Color differentiation difference of the observer is amplified, and quantitative description of metamerism of the observer is facilitated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for establishing the spectral response function of cone cells of observers. Observers with normal color vision are organized to carry out cross-media color matching experiments based on display devices with different primary color spectrums, and at the same time, Monte Carlo methods are used to randomly generate 8 cone cell spectral response functions in different combinations. Physiological physical parameters, combined with observer's age and viewing field of view, yield different individual observer color matching functions. It is compared with the match result of the CIE1964 color matching function to the observer, so as to establish the cone cell spectral response function for each observer. Background technique [0002] There are individual differences in color vision discrimination between people. The CIE1931 color matching function recommended by CIE under the 2° field of view and the CIE1964 color matching fun...
