The method comprises the steps that: a test app is installed in anAndroid system of an electronic device to be tested; the App is started, the App loads a configuration file which comprises a type and a model of the electronic device to be tested, a corresponding test instruction set is generated according to the configuration file, and the test instruction set comprises a plurality of test instructions of a plurality of practical functions of the electronic device to be tested; the App tests the electronic device to be tested according to each test instruction in the test instruction set and generates a return value for each test instruction; and the App compares each return value with a preset value in the configuration file to determine whether each test instruction passes the test. According to the method, the shortcomings of a manual test are overcome, the test is faster and the result is more accurate, more importantly, the cooperation with a PC to make factory instruction interaction is not needed, and the simplification of production line equipment is facilitated.
