Abstract

The present disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for determining a blood vessel capacity and a coronary blood flow. The method for determining a flow rate of a target blood vessel includes: obtaining a contrast image sequence in a time domain of the target blood vessel after a contrast agent is injected into the target blood vessel; using a processor to identify a region of interest including the target vessel in each contrast image of the contrast image sequence in the time domain; integrating, by the processor, each pixel value in the region of interest; and using the processorto determine a capacity of the target blood vessel according to the integral value of each region of interest and a predetermined relationship between the integral value and a contrast agent volume. The method and device of the present disclosure are capable of determining the capacity and / or flow of the target blood vessel without relying on external calibration.
