Problems solved by technology

[0005] Since the beams of satellites are not radiated completely vertically to the ground, most of the beams are obliquely projected onto the surface of the earth, which will cause the ellipticity of the circular beams; and because the earth is a sphere, the beams farther from the sub-satellite point will have greater deformation
However, the current multi-beam antenna technology does not take into account the deformation of the beam, so there is an error between the obtained useful signal power and the same-channel interference power, resulting in low accuracy of the carrier-to-interference ratio

Abstract

The invention provides a method for determining a carrier-to-interference ratio in multi-beam satellite communication. The method comprises the steps of determining a pointing position of a central axis of each single-beam antenna according to single-beam radiation characteristics and position information of a satellite; determining useful power received by the observer according to the pointing position of the central axis of each single-beam antenna and the angle of the observer deviating from the central axis of the beam antenna; determining the same-frequency interference power received bythe observer according to the pointing position of the central axis of each single-beam antenna and the angle of the observer deviating from the central axis of the same-frequency interference beam antenna; and determining a carrier-to-interference ratio according to the useful power and the same-frequency interference power. The carrier-to-interference ratio obtained by the method is high in precision, and an accurate basis is provided for frequency spectrum planning of a satellite communication system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method and device for determining carrier-to-interference ratio in multi-beam satellite communication. Background technique [0002] The satellite communication system uses satellites as relay stations to forward microwave signals and communicate between multiple ground stations. Communication environments such as polar regions, deserts, and aircraft have unique advantages, so satellite communication has become one of the hot research technologies in the field of communication. [0003] Antenna technology is one of the key technologies of satellite communication. Due to the long transmission distance of satellite communication links, the signal attenuation is very large. Therefore, in order to ensure stable and reliable communication, multi-beam antennas are currently used. Multi-beam antenna technology can generate multiple sub-beams at the same time, thereby covering ...
