Problems solved by technology

Compared with microphone-based wearable devices, these sensors not only provide better user comfort and can accurately detect soft food, but also are resistant to ambient noise; similar to installing RFID tags on food packaging for identification of ingestion These sensors not only reduce the additional cost, but also identify more details of eating habits compared to food-based methods; this method requires a lot of storage space to store the video compared to the camera-based method of recording food intake. data, in addition, the recognition accuracy is related to the ambient light, which has great limitations

Embodiment Construction

[0033] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with accompanying drawing.

[0034] Such as figure 1As shown, a food intake detection device includes a neck strap, a detection module and a control module. The neckband is made of elastic material, preferably diene elastic fiber fabric. The control module includes a power supply module 1 , a voltage amplification module 2 , a filter module 3 , a main control module 4 and a Bluetooth sending module 5 . The power supply module 1 supplies power to the voltage amplification module 2, the filter module 3, the main control module 4 and the Bluetooth transmission module 5 through the first power chip and the second power chip. The piezoelectric sensor 204 in the detection module converts the vibration signal into a voltage signal and transmits it to the voltage amplification module 2 . The voltage amplifying module 2 amplifies the received voltage signal through an amplifying chip and transmits it to the ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a food intake detecting device and a detecting method thereof. Some technological equipment-assisted dietary habit monitoring techniques such as cameras and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags are all implemented under laboratory conditions and are harmful to human bodies. The food intake detecting device disclosed by the invention comprises a neck belt, a detectionmodule and a control module; the control module comprises a power module, a voltage amplifying module, a filtering module and a main control module; the detection module comprises a curved shell, an upper protective sponge, a piezoelectric sensor and a lower protective sponge; and the upper protective sponge, the piezoelectric sensor and the lower protective sponge are sequentially stacked. The device disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the piezoelectric sensor is arranged on the neck belt, a user can wear the neck belt comfortably and compared with an invasive sensor, the device is safe and healthy and convenient to carry; and the types of food are judged by combining with a decision tree intelligent recognition algorithm and the corresponding types of the food aredetermined according to vibration signals detected by the piezoelectric sensor.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of food intake monitoring, and in particular relates to a portable food intake detection device and a detection method thereof. Background technique [0002] At present, many human diseases are related to eating habits, so maintaining a healthy diet is a key factor in a healthy life. A healthy diet can effectively reduce obesity-related chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, stroke and diabetes. Food intake is an important step in detection. Currently, the most popular and traditional method for detecting food intake is questionnaire survey, but the questionnaire survey manually records and stores dietary information in the form of self-report, which is cumbersome. [0003] Piezoelectric sensors, also known as vibration sensors, can be embedded within the stretchable necklace to record chewing and swallowing patterns by sensing skin movements in the jaw and neck. Compared with microphone-based we...
