According to the simulation test device for measuring the brake reliability of the traction machine, a torque is generated through a gravity difference between a first gravity block and a second gravity block, so that on one hand, working conditions are closer to field use conditions, and on the other hand, power energy of adding the torque by electrification ina laboratory is saved; and the gravity difference between the first gravity block and the second gravity block is changed by adjusting the height of a second guide rail support, so that the working conditions can be closer to the field use conditions.
