Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a video editing method and device, a terminal and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps of displaying a first editing interface, wherein the firstediting interface comprises a frame sequence of a first video; obtaining a selection instruction corresponding to a first segment in the frame sequence of the first video; displaying a frame sequenceof n remaining segments after the first segment is removed from the first video in a first editing interface, wherein n is a positive integer; and when a first confirmation instruction is obtained, generating a first target video containing the n remaining segments. The invention provides a video editing function (which can be called as a 'jump clipping' function) for reversely selecting a fragment to be reserved in a rejecting mode. Through the function, one or more clips are selected from an original video to be removed, then the reserved one or more remaining clips are combined to generatea new video, flexible selection and rejection of the clips and combination of multiple non-continuous clips are supported, video editing is more flexible, and more editing requirements are met.
