Problems solved by technology

However, in terms of the quality of doctoral training, there is still a big gap with developed countries such as the United States. As of March 2017, the average number of citations of scientific research papers published by the top five universities in my country is 10.27-13.40, which is far lower than the top five universities in the United States. The average level of colleges and universities (about 28.02); the contribution rate of top papers is about 12%, which is lower than the 15% in the United States

Abstract

The invention discloses a high-level paper publication quantity influence factor evaluation method based on a structural equation model. The method comprises the steps of setting influence factors influencing the number of published high-level papers, collecting data of publishers of the high-level papers, calculating initial variables, calculating a model fitting degree index by utilizing a structural equation model, and carrying out iterative correction on the structural equation model to obtain an evaluation result of each variable on the number of published high-level papers. According tothe method, the influence factors of the quantity of the published high-level papers of doctoral students are quantitatively and systematically evaluated, so that the quantity and the quality of the published high-level papers of the doctoral students are expected to be improved, and suggestions are provided for improving the culture quality of the doctoral students.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of evaluation methods for factors affecting the number of high-level papers published, and in particular relates to a method for evaluating factors affecting the number of high-level papers published based on a structural equation model. Background technique [0002] The scale of doctoral enrollment in my country is expanding year by year. In 2018, 95,500 doctoral students were enrolled, an increase of 13.8% compared with 2017. In terms of quantity, my country has had the world's largest doctoral student team for more than ten consecutive years. However, in terms of the quality of doctoral training, there is still a big gap with developed countries such as the United States. As of March 2017, the average number of citations of scientific research papers published by the top five universities in my country is 10.27-13.40, which is far lower than the top five universities in the United States. The average leve...
