[0055] Aspects of the present disclosure generally address one or more issues related to daisy chaining of nodes, such as base stations.
[0056] This disclosure describes techniques for transferring backhaul information between daisy-chained base stations. In a non-limiting example, the base station may be mounted on a series of communicatively connected light posts aligned substantially linearly along a street. Due to the placement of these light posts, the base station is located on a line of sight (LoS) channel covering the entire series of light posts. This linear arrangement of base stations may affect the signal quality of the LoS channel in between because a signal transmitted from a first base station to a second base station may extend beyond the second base station and interfere with another signal transmitted from the second base station to a third base station. The signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) is negatively affected.
