Problems solved by technology

The external circuits of these thermopile temperature sensors are mostly analog circuits built separately, or a single module design including amplification and conditioning circuits, filter design or power management modules; and these technical solutions are different, or focus on data Signal readout circuits (such as 201920740835.9), or focus on temperature self-calibration modules (such as ZL201710278540.X), there are few dedicated integrated circuit chip designs, and they are far from truly reaching the level of MEMS devices

Embodiment Construction

[0024] The present invention will be further described in detail below in combination with specific implementation methods and accompanying drawings.

[0025] Such as figure 1 As shown, the ASIC of the present invention includes sequentially connected multi-channel analog switch MUX, programmable gain amplifier PGA, analog-to-digital converter ADC, digital filter DF, random access memory RAM, erasable programmable read-only memory EEPROM, state machine, and power management module POR, the multi-channel analog switch MUX switches the multi-channel analog signal between the thermopile sensor and the reference resistor. In this embodiment, the multi-channel analog switch MUX is a data selector that chooses one of the two. Data switching is performed between the thermopile sensor and the reference resistor, and sampling is performed in turn in the form of a multi-channel public analog-to-digital converter ADC; the programmable gain amplifier PGA is used for conditioning and ampli...

Abstract

The invention discloses an application specific integrated circuit for a thermopile sensor and an ASIC chip. The circuit comprises a multi-channel analog switch, a programmable gain amplifier, an analog-to-digital converter, a digital filter, a random access memory, an erasable programmable read-only memory, a state machine and a power management module which are connected in sequence, and the multi-channel analog switch switches multi-channel analog signals between a thermopile sensor and a reference resistor; the programmable gain amplifier conditions and amplifies the analog signal; the digital filter filters high-frequency signal noise; the random access memory stores and exchanges the filtered real-time measurement data; the power management module controls the whole integrated circuit to be in a low-power-consumption state. The multi-channel thermopile sensor signal input circuit supports multi-channel thermopile sensor signal input, and has the functions of analog signal amplification, filtering, parameter storage and self-calibration. The ASIC chip provided by the invention is made into a millimeter level, so that pin wiring is greatly reduced, and the integration level ofthe thermopile sensor is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to MEMS sensor (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) technology, and specifically relates to an application-specific integrated circuit and an ASIC chip for a thermopile sensor. Background technique [0002] At present, the global sensor market is showing a trend of rapid growth, and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) are manufactured using semiconductor materials and microelectronic processing technologies. Micro-electro-mechanical systems are favored because of their optical, mechanical, and electrical integration, small size, light weight, and low power consumption. Among them, the infrared thermopile temperature sensor is a new type of sensor, which is widely used in environmental monitoring, security systems, smart home, medical and process control and other scenarios due to its non-contact temperature measurement, and realizes automatic detection of temperature with control. [0003] MEMS senso...
