Abstract

The invention discloses a D-type audio power amplifier and a sampling triangular wave generation circuit used therein. The sampling triangular wave generation circuit comprises a charging current source and a discharging current source; a triangular wave generation capacitor which is used for outputting a sampled triangular wave signal and is provided with a first end, wherein the first end of thetriangular wave generation capacitor is connected with the grounding end of the discharge current source; a PMOS switch which is operably connected with the second end of the triangular wave generation capacitor and the charging current source; an NMOS switch which is operably connected with the second end of the triangular wave generation capacitor and the discharge current source; and an oscillator which is used for generating a clock signal and driving the PMOS switch and the NMOS switch based on the clock signal. According to the D-type audio power amplifier and the sampling triangular wave generation circuit used in the D-type audio power amplifier, the constant current source is designed to charge and discharge the capacitor, so the output triangular wave form linearity is good andstable, and the THD performance of the D-type audio power amplifier can be improved.
