Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of livestock molecular biology, and provides a kit and method for family division and paternity identification of domestic pigs. The kit and method comprises the following steps: specifically selecting 14 SSR loci of domestic pigs, especially Anqing Liubai pigs, synthesizing corresponding primers for the loci, conducting capillary electrophoresis detection on ear tissue DNA of 98 Anqing Liubai pigs, counting and calculating the number of effective alleles, heterozygosity, polymorphic information content, genetic distance and exclusion rate of each locus, obtaining family division of the domestic pigs, especially the Anqing Liubai pigs, and performing paternity identification. The cumulative elimination probability of 14 microsatellite loci reaches 99%. The 14 microsatellite loci selected by the research have polymorphism in the Anqing Liubai pig population and can be used as effective genetic markers to be applied to production practices such as family division, paternity identification and the like of domestic pigs, especially the Anqing Liubai pig population.
