The visual experimental device comprises a gas transmission system which is used for providing natural gas and can continuously supply natural gas; a water conveying system which is used for storing a water source and can continuously supply water; a gas-liquid mixing system which is used for mixing natural gas and a water source in advance at normal temperature; a model body system which is used for researching the dynamic characteristics in the natural gas hydrate generation and decomposition process under the low-temperature condition and observing the macroscopic morphological change or a leakage system which is used for monitoring the underwater leakage condition of a test pipe section so as to obtain the leakage rule of underwater leaked gas; a pressure return system which is used for reducing the pressure of a loop outlet; a gas-liquid separation system which is used for separating the gas-liquid mixture; and a gas return system which is used for recovering the separated natural gas and ensuring that the gas can be recycled. According to the invention, the characteristics of a hydrate can be researched and the gas leakage of a pipeline can be monitored under laboratory conditions.
