Abstract

A printer for printing on a tape-shaped printing medium having an image-receiving surface of a given width and a non-image-receiving surface formed on at least one side of the image-receiving surface, the printer comprising : a printing head; a conveying mechanism, used for conveying the tape-shaped printing medium along a conveying path passing through the printing position defined by the printing head; a cutter, used for cutting the tape-shaped printing medium.
