Problems solved by technology

Direct clipping can effectively reduce the peak-to-average ratio of the signal, but it is easy to cause in-band noise interference and out-of-band spectrum regeneration of the modulated signal, affecting adjacent channels, which in turn will affect the system capacity; redesigning the spreading code for the protocol-limited system , will be subject to many restrictions and bring a series of problems; changing the initial phase of each subcarrier signal in the multi-carrier signal is not operable, and it is difficult to implement; superimposing out-of-band artificial signals can reduce the signal peak of the CDMA communication system flat ratio, but in the actual system, it takes a relatively high cost to design a filter at the RF input to filter out the out-of-band signal

Embodiment Construction

[0027] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0028] Firstly, the present invention is introduced by taking a 4-carrier communication system as an example. refer to figure 1 , after passing through the numerically controlled oscillator, the vectors of the four carriers are A1, A2, A3, and A4, and they form a vector M after they are combined, so it is necessary to investigate the peak-to-average ratio index for M in the end. figure 1 In , the projection of Ai (i=1, 2, 3, 4) in the M direction is the final composite vector M, that is to say, the contribution of each Ai to the value of |M| is different. which is: | M | = Σ i = 1 4 | A i | cos ( α i ...

Abstract

The present invention discloses a method adapted for suppressing the peak value power of CDMA communication system which carries out the prediction to signal amplitude sent into system power amplifier at the base band part. If the predicted signal amplitude is bigger than peak to average ratio threshold the corresponding treatment to lower peak to average ratio will be executed t othe signal of each base band. The devices in cluded in this invented method are, digital control oscillator, predictor, delay compensator and preprocessor for predictor as the digital control oscillator creates carrier frequency signal and to be sent into predictor to predict the signal amplitude after the base band signal being modulated.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to a method and device for suppressing peak power in a CDMA communication system. Background technique: [0002] In a CDMA communication system, if the signal peak-to-average ratio (the ratio of peak power to average power) input to the RF power amplifier is large, the signal amplitude will exceed the linear range of the power amplifier, resulting in intermodulation interference and signal out-of-band regeneration. Adjacent channels cause high interference and degrade system transmission quality and reduce system capacity. If the signal to be transmitted has a high peak-to-average ratio, in order to avoid out-of-band signal regeneration, the power amplifier needs to have a larger linear range, so that the power amplifier has a larger backoff, which will result in lower efficiency of the power amplifier. It can be seen that an excessive peak-to-average ratio will affect the operating efficiency of the actual communication system,...
