[0011] The screw of the invention, as shown in the accompanying drawings, comprises a threaded body 2, preferably a serrated thread, so that when the screw is used for the fastening of relatively thin metal parts, the serrated thread provides improved pull-out resistance. The lower surface 4 of the screw head comprises a substantially flat bottom surface 6 and a peripheral surface 8 extending upwards and outwards from the surface 6 . The upwardly extending peripheral surface 8 reaches a slightly dome-shaped upper surface 10 via an edge 9 . In the central part of the head 4 there is made a socket 12 for receiving a suitable driver such as an Allen key.
