Abstract

A method for optimizing a position of a receiver for a mobile communication terminal comprises detecting an ear hole, extracting a characteristic parameter of the ear hole from the detected information, and comparing the extracted parameter with data stored in a storing unit and thereby controlling an output direction of a voice signal.
