Apparatus and method for installing a closure in a building

PendingEP4731862A1Heat proofingGirders
A mounting frame for mounting a closure within an aperture in a building. The mounting frame comprises a main frame structure and insulation. The main frame structure is arranged, in use, to extend around a perimeter of the building aperture. The insulation is on the outside of the main frame structure and extends about the whole or at least part of its periphery. The main frame structure is formed in two parts each terminating with an outwardly extending support flange. The insulation couples together the support flanges and thereby coupling together the two parts of the main frame structure. The support flanges and the insulation are configured such that, in use, the insulation and the support flanges are positioned between interior and exterior wall skins of a wall surrounding the building aperture. There is also disclosed a construction method using the mounting frame.

Apparatus and method for installing a closure in a building

PendingEP4731861A1Heat proofingGirders
A closure mounting structure comprising a mounting frame and a lintel. The mounting frame is for mounting a closure frame of a closure within an aperture in a building. The mounting frame comprises a main frame structure arranged, in use, to extend around a perimeter of the building aperture. The lintel is attached or attachable to a portion of the mounting frame that in use is located at an upper portion of the building aperture such that when attached to the mounting frame the lintel extends beyond the mounting frame on first and second sides of the mounting frame in a plane defined by the main frame structure. The main frame structure may be open on one side and closed by the lintel. The lintel is configured to support a portion of the building above the building aperture. The mounting frame further comprises a mounting flange extending around the main frame structure and defining a sealing surface adapted to abut a building surface outside of the building aperture for locating and sealing the mounting frame in the building aperture. Corresponding methods of use are disclosed.

Method and installation for the manufacture of a beam.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a beam (1) in the form of a truss (2) assembled to a sheath (10) filled with an insulating material (7), which truss is formed of an upper bar (3) and two lower bars (4, 5) connected by a reinforcement (6), said lower bars being inserted into a recess (11) in the sheath having an insertion opening (110), the spacing (L) between said lower bars at rest being greater than the width (D) of said opening, the insertion of the two lower bars being carried out by the steps of: - positioning the truss opposite the opening, - temporarily deforming the truss so as to bring the lower bars closer together until their spacing becomes less than the width of the opening, - translating the truss thus deformed towards the opening to insert the lower bars into the recess. Figure to be published with the abbreviation: Fig. 1

Profile element for creating a lintel, a wall recess or a beam in a building

Profile element (1) for producing a lintel, a wall recess or a beam in a building (4), wherein the profile element (1) has a longitudinal extension in a longitudinal direction of the profile element (1) which is a multiple of a transverse extension of the profile element (1) directed perpendicular to the longitudinal extension, characterized in that the profile element (1) has two or more than two hollow chambers (8, 10, 17, 19) extending in a hollow chamber direction, which are each completely surrounded by profile element webs (6) of the profile element (1) in a hollow chamber transverse plane of the profile element (1) oriented perpendicular to the hollow chamber direction.
