Abstract

A sole interlayer of the shoe includes a sole interlayer element which comprises a roof plate, a baseboard, and a plurality of supporting pieces which are arranged between the roof plate and the baseboard and are used for supporting the roof plate to keep away from the baseboard for a distance. The adjacent supporting piece is provided with C-shaped cross section facing to the same direction. Thesole interlayer component further includes a heel cranny to increase the flexibility of the sole. In the optimized embodiment the supporting piece at the inner side is arranged to generate an angle with the supporting piece at the outside of the sole. The direction designing respectively provides aeolotropic flexibility and rigidity to the long direction and transverse direction of the sole.

Description

Background technique [0001] Footwear, especially athletic shoes, require that they provide adequate shock absorption and stability to the foot to prevent potentially harmful effects during strenuous exercise, such as running or jumping. The footwear industry has developed various athletic shoes to maximize shoe comfort and durability while maximizing shock absorption and stability. Unfortunately, these goals are potentially at odds with each other. For example, a shoe that provides adequate shock absorption and comfort may not provide sufficient stability. A basic understanding of the dynamics of running and the mechanisms of running injuries is important to further advance the development of athletic footwear. [0002] A typical walking or running gait cycle consists of two states: (1) stance state and (2) swing state. In the stance state, one foot contacts a support surface such as the ground and bears weight, while in the swing state, the other foot moves and advances in...
