Abstract

The invention discloses a 3D pavement generation method applicable to a virtual prototype system. The method comprises the following steps: the first step, establishing a 3D random pavement elevation model of a fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm based on a single-point FFT pavement roughness random excitation time domain model; the second step, programming a general program of the FFT 3D pavement model in MATLAB software, and selecting the pavement of a specific level to simulate the pavement roughness according to needs, thus obtaining coordinate data of the 3D pavement; the third step, establishing a generalized pavement file which is applicable to common multibody dynamics software: establishing a general model which generates the 3D pavement file and comprises the node generation and the unit generation algorithm, thus compiling the coordinate data of the 3D pavement obtained in the second step into a pavement file that can be identified by virtual prototype simulation software; and the fourth step, performing virtual prototype modeling simulation.
