Abstract

The speed sensor is installed on the installation block in a up-down symmetrical mode or a fore-aft symmetrical mode. The installation block is fixed to the elevator cage, and the two speed sensors are disposed so they have substantially the same irradiation angle with respect to the moving surface, and the security device for the elevator is disposed to correct of the irradiation angle according to the detection signal of the two speed sensors.
