Abstract

The invention relates to a novel method for crop cell breeding, which relates to a novel variety breeding technique of the field of the plant genetics breeding. The novel method for crop cell breeding, which is provided by the invention, comprises the following steps: (1) selecting a plurality of crop genotypes to carry out anther culture in vitro, and screening out a crop backbone parent strain with high culture ability; (2) carrying out hybridization on the crop backbone parent strain and a main cultivated variety, and adopting anther culture in vitro to obtain a novel crop strain of a dynamic backbone parent strain cluster; and (3) carrying out hybridization, mutagenic treatment and composite hybridization accumulation on the crop backbone parent strain with high culture ability and the novel crop strain of the dynamic backbone parent strain cluster. The crop is a gramineous plant or a cruciferous plant. The method of the invention utilizes the dynamic backbone parent strain cluster with high culture ability to carry out composite hybridization and anther culture, realizes rapid integration of the genes with high yield, excellent quality and multiple resistances, and greatly improves the crop breeding efficiency. The technology is suitable for other crops, such as paddy rice, wheat, barley, corns, rapes, Chinese cabbages and the like, and the cruciferous plants.
