Abstract

The present invention provides a seat sensor. The seat sensor includes at least four sensor units (11-14) with a fiducial sensor unit (11, 14). Each sensor unit includes a pair of opposite electrodes (19, 20) electrically connected with each other when a load is received. The sensor units (11-14) are arranged on a vehicle longitudinally in a predefined order. At least two sensor units which are arranged on odd positions from the fiducial sensor unit are electrically connected in parallel to form a first parallel circuit (23). At least two sensor units which are arranged on even positions from the fiducial sensor unit are electrically connected in parallel to form a second parallel circuit (24). The first parallel circuit and the second parallel circuit are electrically connected in series. The fiducial sensor unit is the first or the last sensor unit in the predefined order.
