Abstract

The invention relates to a control system for a fan. The control system comprises a first microcontroller, a second microcontroller and a first logic circuit, wherein the first microcontroller is used for providing at least one first control signal; the second microcontroller is connected with the first microcontroller and is used for detecting the active state of the first microcontroller, and the second microcontroller provides at least one second control signal; and the first logic circuit is used for receiving the first control signal and the second control signal and carrying out logic operation so as to generate at least one driving signal to the fan. In the invention, the two microcontrollers are used in the control system for the fan, when one microcontroller is abnormal, the other microcontroller can ensure the fan to continue operating through the first logic circuit, and thus, the problem of insufficient heat dissipation due to fan inoperativeness caused by the abnormality of the single microcontroller in the traditional control system is solved.
